GPI Atlantic - A Genuine Progress Index (GPI) to Measure Sustainability |
GPI Atlantic is constructing a genuine progress index (GPI) of sustainable development for Nova Scotia. The GPI provides an alternative to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by including the importance of natural and social capital, natural resources, environmental quality, unpaid voluntary and household work, leisure time, health and knowledge.
